What to expect 

Awaken Great Bay is known for Christ-centered worship and in-depth teaching of God’s Word.

During service you can expect:
- Worship through contemporary music
- Prayer
- Verse-by-verse teaching through the Bible
- A strong focus on applying Scripture to everyday life

Your child’s safety is one of our highest priorities. Our secure check-in system makes drop-off and pick-up simple and safe.

When you arrive:
- Stop by the children’s check-in area.
- A team member will help you register your child (first-time families may need a few extra minutes).
- You and your child will receive matching name tags or security tags.

At pick-up:
- Present your matching tag to ensure a safe and smooth check-out.
- Only approved guardians may check out a child.
- All of our volunteers are carefully screened and trained to provide a secure and nurturing environment.

We love families and are passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn about God in a way that makes sense to them.

We offer age-appropriate classes and activities designed just for children—from infants through elementary. Our trained and caring volunteers create an atmosphere where your child can grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun.

If you’d prefer to keep your child with you during the service, you’re absolutely welcome to do so. We also have a dedicated room in the sanctuary available for parents, where you can comfortably care for your child while still viewing the service via live video. In addition, we provide “busy boxes” to help keep little ones engaged during the service.

From the moment you walk through our doors, our friendly team is ready to help you feel completely at home. You'll find greeters at the main entrance, prepared to answer your questions, direct you to classrooms or the sanctuary, and ensure you know exactly where to go.

We prioritize a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and focus on worship and community. Come as you are! Whether you prefer sneakers or dress shoes, a blazer or a hoodie, you'll fit right in.
